Firebender: Prince Zuko

Hey guys! Since I was inbetween commission projects I thought I'd do something fun for myself. And it isn't InuYasha! Crazy I know. Now that we have satallite tv I've been watching Avatar: The last Airbender and I'm totally hooked on Prince Zuko. I think he's even giving Sesshomaru a run for his money as total fave (he'd have to if I'm willing to do a full blown CG of him CX ).

The fire was really tricky on this but after experimenting with some layer blending techniques 'n stuff, I finally got something I was happy with. This is the first drawing I've ever done of Zuko and the only thing I needed for reference was his general appearance, so I'm quite proud of this one. Zuko rocks! You might see more of him in the future... (along with other members of the gang C<). Let me know what you think!
