Well what d'ya know? I finally got myself to finish this! I needed to find something to practice my pencils with to prep for this weekends celebration (I'm planning on drawing requests for little kids there ^v^) & remembered this sketch from back in January. The background was always so tantilizing, so I never could get myself to work on it.

I was planning on posting it the way it was without gimping it, but I just couldn't help myself. it needed highlights! XD So I adjusted the saturation, darkened a few areas, made the wind a bit more visible while I was at it. Overall, I'm really quite pleased with how this turned out. It's nice to know I can do a color job like this WITHOUT the computer ( with the exception of the editing ^v^). Enjoy!

I just love the background. When I draw traditionally, I hate coloring. The only time I color is on the computer...with MS paint.

dang computer! make me hit the send button when I didn't want to. CX Anyways, I had to get a whole ton of reference for the background, but other than that, it was really fun to do. (obviously you can tell I don't care for using reference CX). lol you know, I use to feel that way about traditional coloring vs. CG's too, but now that I'm getting back into traditional, I'm starting to enjoy it a lot more. I've realized I'm quite a bit faster that way. I must compliment you on coloring with MS paint! I don't think I'd ever have the patience to do that, so way to go!

You know, if you ever wanted to upgrade to something new, try downloading gimp. it's free, & works just as good as photoshop! Just thought I'd throw out that tip. ^v^ Thanks again for the comment! Much appreciated. =D

Thank you! ^v^ Yes, I need to pay more attention to this pairing instead of Sessh/Kag. All the fanfic/fanart I've seen & read of them has kind of messed up my ability to picture Sesshomaru & Kagura together unfortunately...
