Fallen Hero

Hey guys!  I'm sure you've probably seen this touching picture floating around the internet.  This is a homework assignment I just finished yesterday (about 4:30 AM I might add lol).  We were suppose to find an image online that evoked a lot of emotion, sketch it, then think of 10+ words that described what you felt when you looked at it, and then use those words to create the texture/shading.  So yeah, LOTS of writing and LOTS of layering text over and over and over and over.....(you get the idea).  Some of the words I used were Sadness, loss, love, hero strength courage sacrifice, etc..  It was a lot of work, but I enjoyed it. Hope you like it!
